Starting Your Online Business From Scratch!

Not sure where to start. I will try to take you through the process from
starting your business to the finish. I will give you a heads up, this is
not a startup in one hour. It takes a lot of research and work on your part
to be a successful internet marketer. That said there will be several articles
posted on this subject. The first thing you need to do is find a Niche market. So lets get started.
Step number one, that iPhone or Blackberry, or any other electronic product
that you think is a hot item. I hate to burst your bubble, there are millions
sold every year, until the next great item becomes available. Problem with these
types of hot items, they can be purchased on millions of sites and in brick and mortar
business all over the world. So that said clear your mind, and think of something that
is not easly purchased. I know you are totally drawing a blank. I had the same problem. Well hit me in
the head I could have had a V8. No, do not try to sell V8. You see all these things
that you think are hot items are just to competative. The keywords would just be to
expensive. Case in point, I decided to become an affiliate for a credit card consolidation
company. This is after I took a course on google adwords and how to be an advertising
guru. So I searched keywords and selected the ones that were under one dollar. Put
them in my add and found that they were actually being bid from $36.00 to $80.00 per
click. Hold on ppc will be in another article for now let us concentrate on Niche markets.
I can not pick your niche market for you. What I can tell you is try to pick something
you know a little about, so you can write articles, post in blogs and forums, and
hold discussions about your product on social sites. Now you have your mind cleared, right! It is so clear that there just isn't anything you
can think of that you can not buy in any of the general merchandise stores locally.
So now the work begins. Start by taking your Ideas and doing a search with keyword tools, google has a free one.
Or the best one that has a free 15 day trial is wordtracker. What to put in your keyword tool. Well here is an idea go to your local Walmart store.
Head back to the dairy section, its always to the back of the store. No don't sell dairy
everyone sells dairy. It actually turns over more dollars that anything else in the store. I wanted you to go to the dairy section to see what walmart does not sell a lot of. Our
walmart store has 13 doors in there cooler for dairy. Out of those 13 doors there is just
one door of organic dairy foods. Organic in a brick and mortar building is just not a
profitable item. There just is not enough traffic for organic items in the local store.
Your question is then why organic. Your online business has millions of shoppers daily,
your job is to find that group of people that is interested in organic products. It could be for humans or for there pets. Does not have to be food could be shampoo for
their dog or cat. Maybe you want to write an ebook or a newsletter that has hard to find information. There are
millions of people looking daily world wide for information. This will give you something to work on until my next acticle. Oh yes I got the idea from
a course I took that suggeste organic parrot food. Huh!
