Feeding Burmda Grass

Fertilize your lawn Winter is coming to an end and we are wanting to get out and work in the yard. But where do we start. How about feeding your lawn. I know that there is a five step program for most lawns. That is why I prefer Burmuda grass. It takes very little care except for mowing. With what I do you definintely have to mow about twice a week. The best fertilizer for burmuda grass is Urea (not sure that is spelled right) but it will get you the right food. I purchase mine at the local coop. It is not expensive and you can get by using it only once or twice a year. Start using urea in the middle of March and you will have the greenest lawn in the neiborhood. Also takes very little water. Which is great for mother nature. I also put it on around the first of July. This helps keep my lawn a deep green all summer. This is what I learned last fall from our Golf cours superintendent. According to him Urea is the best fetilizer on the market. If you apply it around the 15th of november you will be amazed at how it makes your lawn look. So now I have to get busy and get to work.
